Jamal Williams

Jamal Williams has served as 2nd Ward Alderman for the City of Plano Illinois since 2017. Alderman Williams is committed to providing equal opportunities for all residents of Kendall county, improving communication and transparency, as well as promoting economic growth and development in the community that he serves. Jamal is a Veteran who received an Honorable Discharge after 8 years of service with our United State Army. He's a father of 4 and happily married for 23 years. Jamal has been a resident of Kendall county since 2010.

 

District 2

Zach Bachmann

Zach Bachmann is a lifelong Kendall Resident and was elected to the Kendall County Board in 2022. Employing his background as a software developer, Member Bachmann has led the county’s effort to bring affordable internet services to those in our community currently without it. In his first term, Bachmann’s leadership was pivotal in putting the county in a position to build a community owned and maintained broadband network that will address the underserved parts of our community while putting infrastructure in key places for business development and growth. As Highway Chairman, Zach expanded the Kendall County Transportation Alternatives Program to double its previous size, has worked to improve intersection safety, and has enabled collaboration between county departments that paved the way for a significant forest preserve project. Bachmann is passionate about technology, transparency, social justice, and bringing innovative solutions to the county. He is ecstatic about Kendall County’s growth and looks forward to continuing to serve the people in his community.

Savena Joiner

Savena Joiner is a dedicated resident of Joliet, IL, residing in Kendall County since 2007. With over 20 years of experience in education, Savena brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her community. As a devoted mother, educator, and advocate for social justice, Savena is committed to making a positive impact in Kendall County. Raised by a Vietnam Veteran and a proud Union member throughout her career, she understands the importance of standing up for what is right. Recently venturing into local politics, Savena currently serves as a Precinct Committee person for Na Au Say Township Precinct 4. She is enthusiastic about the growth potential that Kendall County offers and is dedicated to promoting initiatives that benefit the community.
